<code><strong>TCP<\/strong><\/code> and type the port number in <code>Specific local port<\/code> and click <code><strong>Next<\/strong><\/code> until you reach the step where you asked to enter a rule name, give the rule a name and Click <code><strong>Finish<\/strong><\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nco-warning-block\"><p class=\"nco-warning-block-content\">If you do not add a firewall rule before changing the port, you will no longer be able to connect to the server after a reboot.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nco-info-block\"><p class=\"nco-info-block-content\">If you have Plesk installed or another 3rd party security product installed, you will need to add the rule to these.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"change-the-port-in-the-windows-registry\">Change the port in the Windows registry.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Open registry editor by searching for regedit in Windows search or use the run command and enter regedit&gt;accept the warning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-nco-info-block\"><p class=\"nco-info-block-content\">We strongly recommend making a backup of the registry before proceeding to the but you must add the specific port number after the IP in this case :11089<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p> Open Firewall (Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security)&gt;disable the old RDP firewall
