Installation method:<\/strong> Plesk UI<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into Plesk<\/strong> via https:\/\/XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:8443<\/a> (the X\u2019s represent the IP address of your server).<\/li>
  2. Navigate to Tools & Settings<\/strong> > Updates & Upgrades<\/strong> (please note it might take a little while for the page to load).<\/li>
  3. Click on “Add\/Remove Components<\/strong>“, as you can see below;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    4. Click on “Fail2Ban<\/strong>” and choose “Install<\/strong>“, as shown in the following screenshot;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Click on “Continue<\/strong>” to initiate the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Once it has completed, you should be able to access Fail2Ban via Plesk<\/strong> > Tools & Settings <\/strong>> Address Banning (Fail2Ban)<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    However, it needs to be enabled to start protecting specific services (daemons) of your server, so please follow these steps to enable it.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
